|Acela Electric Locomotive|
The Acela is America's bullet train which, in some places on the Northeast Corridor, hits 125 miles per hour. It runs off the overhead catenary on what was (in part) the Pennsylvania Railroad's mainline. There's a power car (the locomotive) on each end, with the passenger cars between. While sitting at the train station here in New Jersey waiting for my train to New York City, I saw a headlight approaching on the express track and got out my phone just in the nick of time to snap this shot. Though it was really moving, the phone camera did a good job of freezing the action.
